What I enjoy doing
My goal is to do what I enjoy every day. Certain days, I do not have the energy/I feel lazy so I do less but I want to aim to do what I enjoy regularly so that my energy stays high. A life filled with activities I enjoy seems like a good life!
I want to list out the items I enjoy doing and explain why so that I reaffirm in my own head what I like doing and for what reason so I stay consistent. I also hope to keep myself accountable for doing this regularly. It wouldn’t hurt to use my accountability strategy to do this, which I wrote about in the past.
What do I typically enjoy doing?
Spending time with family and friends.
It is always nice having a good laugh and having someone to talk to you about good times and tough times. Family/friends have helped me through a lot and I also enjoy helping out where I can.

I enjoy playing sports more than watching sports
Sports.
Playing soccer, football, and basketball — among other sports (@trying2beactice!). Getting better and better and playing at a world-class level is definitely one of my dreams (wrote about my dreams).
Make people smile every day; it’ll help your sleep
Making people smile.
My nephew shared a quote that inspired a helpful thought in my head (see above). Shared the related quote by my nephew below. I have found myself accomplishing this goal by complementing individuals rather than keeping that positive thought in my head. I have also attempted to provide more thoughtful gifts. For example, a friend of mine allowed me to stay at his apartment and provided him a painting of the Santa Monica boardwalk as that area reminds him of good times he has had playing volleyball at that beach.

Meeting new people.
Every time I meet someone new I have the opportunity to be inspired, learn something new, received and provide help (wrote about the value of people helping people), among many other items

Writing my thoughts/journaling.
More than a year ago I started documenting my thoughts on Evernote/google keep. This experience has allowed me to share with myself all the items I want to do, all of my frustrations, and all of the things that I am grateful for. It has been an awesome writing my thoughts on a regular basis. It has definitely helped me become a happier, calmer, empathetic and more thoughtful person. I feel like females at a young age enjoyed journaling; I wish I caught on.
Doing breathing exercises and yoga.
Both of these activities consistently allow me to stay calm and focused. Being calm and focused has helped me with learning new skills and building better relationships. Hope to do these activities more often. Excited that my new home in Santa Monica / Los Angeles is filled with yoga enthusiasts (wrote about why I’m excited about LA)
Eating healthy.
It makes me feel pretty damn good everyday, gets me in better physical shape, and helps me perform better athletically. In order to continue eating health and to eat healthier, I want to focus on preparing better (talked about this here)

I am happy that I am aware of the different items I enjoy. Now I want to focus on being consistent with these activities.
